A Big Box store is coming to Findlay, but its identity remains a guarded secret.
Findlay Awaits the Identity of “Big Box” Coming to the Findlay Mall
The major announcement in September of a Big Box store coming to The Findlay Village Mall has sent ripples of excitement and speculation throughout the community – but its name cannot be revealed quite yet.
The nearly 132,000-square-foot store will be located at 1800 Tiffin Ave. and will require the middle portion of the mall to be demolished. Runnings, Best Buy, Tokyo Steakhouse, Michael’s and Dunham’s will remain. The ED office has been helping some of the stores affected by the demolition coming in 2025 to find new locations.
“Our office has worked diligently with city and county officials for more than a decade to encourage the right environment in Findlay to attract this exciting new development,” said Chris Keller, executive director of Findlay·Hancock County Economic Development. “We’re really looking forward to announcing it to the community.”
Displaced store owners from the mall are welcome to call the ED office at 419-422-3313 for assistance relocating.
